The objective of the Cortona On The Move Award is to extend support to photographers in their project development and production. In association with LensCulture, this award is a component of Cortona On The Move's continuous pursuit for creative and unique storytelling.

The competition is open to all genres of photography and does not impose any particular theme. It solicits entries that demonstrate contemporary perspectives and visions. The finalist projects will be revealed on June 5, 2023, and will be presented on the websites of Cortona On The Move and LensCulture. These projects will also be screened at the festival's opening days in Cortona.

There will be three awards granted to the finalists. One project will receive €3,000 and will be exhibited at the next Cortona On The Move edition. Additionally, two other projects will be published on LensCulture's website in 2023.

On June 5, 2023, the selected works will be declared and shared on the social media platforms and websites of both Cortona On The Move and LensCulture.
