YEVHEN SAMUCHENKO
Yevhen Samuchenko, known by the creative pseudonym Q-lieb-in, is an emerging photographer based in Ukraine, who continues to reside in the country during the ongoing war. He holds prestigious titles such as EFIAP, UAPF, and GPA.
Samuchenko's work has been exhibited internationally, including 12 museum exhibitions across the globe. Deeply inspired by Mother Nature and the Universe, his photography focuses primarily on nature, exploring the subtle and ever-changing relationship between humanity and the natural world. Through his images, he seeks to showcase the fragile beauty of the planet and the potential for dialogue in the interaction between man and nature.
His works have been published in prominent magazines, books, and online media platforms, including The New York Times, The Times, National Geographic, Traveller, N-Photo, Bruckmann Publisher, Wikimedia, Story Terrace, BBC, UNESCO’s official website, Nikon’s official website, the Royal Photography Society website, Der Spiegel, Atlas, China News, and others.
Yevhen Samuchenko is the winner and finalist of many prestigious photography contests, such as HIPA, Travel Photographer of the Year, Nature Photographer of the Year, IPA, and the Sony Photo Awards. His accolades include the HIPA Winner's Cup, four FIAP Gold Medals, the HIPA Merit Medal, and the HIPA Gold Medal, among others.
He is currently presenting his project At the Pink Planet, which captures the unusual and stunning natural landscapes of the pink salt lakes in the Kherson region of Ukraine.
