Have a powerful photo that tells a story? Whether you’re an experienced pro or just starting out, the Xposure International Photography Awards could be your moment to shine. Recognized all over the world, this competition is all about celebrating the art of photography as storytelling—and it’s completely free to enter.

Run by Xposure, one of the world’s top photography festivals, based in Sharjah, United Arab Emirates, the competition is open to photographers of all ages and backgrounds. There’s something for everyone, with categories like Nature & Landscape, Architecture, Portraiture, Street Photography, Sport, Night Photography, Mobile Photography, AI Photography, and Photo Manipulation. Plus, if you’re under 18, there’s a special Junior category just for you.

Each category will name a winner, a runner-up, and five nominees, and one overall winner will receive the title of Xposure International Photographer of the Year. All winners and nominees are invited to exhibit their work at the next Xposure Festival—and travel and accommodation are provided for the main award winners!

A panel of expert judges will review entries in two rounds. The first looks at creativity and impact. The second dives deeper into technical skill, composition, and how well your photo fits the category. Just make sure it’s your original work, and nothing offensive or inappropriate.

With a total prize pool of over $60,000, and the chance to show your photos to curators, editors, and collectors from around the world, this isn’t just a competition—it’s a launchpad. So if you’ve got a story to tell through your lens, now’s the time to share it.
