The World Water Day Photo Contest welcomes photographers from every corner of the planet—both professionals with years of experience and amateurs driven by passion and curiosity. United by values such as respect, tolerance, and kindness toward nature and humanity, participants come together to share their vision through the universal language of photography. Founded in 2017 by the Seregno AID Lions Club, the contest was conceived as a cultural initiative capable of inspiring solidarity and environmental awareness.

Although still young, the competition has already showcased extraordinary photographs marked by poetic beauty and emotional strength. Some images draw attention to the many dangers that threaten our water sources and, consequently, the people who depend on them. Others illuminate the purity, energy, and life-giving essence of water, reminding us of its fundamental importance to our existence.
