The World Street Photo Awards invites photographers of all levels—professional, amateur, and student—to submit their work and share compelling visions of life as it unfolds in public spaces around the world. Dedicated to celebrating the power and diversity of street photography, the awards seek images that capture authentic moments, unexpected encounters, and stories that might otherwise remain unseen.

Street photography has the unique ability to transform everyday life into something meaningful, revealing the extraordinary within the ordinary. A fleeting gesture, a chance encounter, a moment of humor, tension, solitude, movement, or connection can become a powerful visual statement when observed through the photographer’s eye. Whether made in a crowded city, a quiet neighborhood, a marketplace, a train station, or any other shared public space, these photographs offer a window into the rhythms, contradictions, and experiences of contemporary life.

We welcome bold, authentic, and visually compelling submissions that reflect the true spirit of the street—spontaneous, unfiltered, observant, and alive to the unexpected. We are interested in photographs that demonstrate a strong personal vision while remaining connected to the reality of the moment. Images may be humorous or serious, intimate or energetic, subtle or dramatic, but they should communicate something meaningful about the people, places, and situations encountered in everyday life.

The World Street Photo Awards is committed to discovering emerging talent while also celebrating accomplished photographers who continue to expand the possibilities of the genre. Our goal is to provide a platform for distinctive voices and to recognize street photography as a vital and evolving form of visual storytelling.

Selected photographers and winners will receive international exposure, with their work presented to a global audience of photography enthusiasts, industry professionals, collectors, and fellow image-makers. Cash prizes will also be awarded to outstanding entries.
