The annual World Press Photo Contest celebrates excellence in photojournalism and documentary photography from the previous year. Participation is free, with prizes including up to €6,000 and a feature in the internationally renowned traveling exhibition.

Entries for the 2025 contest are open from 1 December 2024 to 10 January 2025. We encourage submissions from a wide range of photographers and stories to represent diverse global perspectives.
