Entry Overview

• This residency is juried; all submissions will be reviewed by the WSP curatorial panel.

• Entry fee: US $50 per series (a series = up to ten related photographs).

• Each applicant may enter up to three distinct series. Submit each series separately and pay the fee each time.

Artist Statement (worth 50 % of the evaluation)

Please supply a first-person statement that:

1. Defines the concept, subject or narrative of the submitted series.

2. Explains why the residency is important to your practice.

3. Demonstrates why you are the ideal recipient.

File Preparation

1. Select up to ten photographs that form a cohesive street-photography series (public-space images only; no AI, composites, watermarks or borders; no explicit or violent content).

2. Format each file as .JPG/.JPEG, 1200 px on the longest side, < 1 MB.

3. Name files: firstname_lastname##.jpg (e.g. gulnara_lyabib01.jpg).

4. Zip all images into one folder titled firstname_lastname; final ZIP must be < 20 MB.

5. Add one PDF containing:

   • First-person artist statement

   • Third-person bio

• Submission does not guarantee selection.

• Short-listed photographers will be highlighted online and on WSP social channels.

• Fees are non-refundable and help underwrite residency costs.
