Since photography first emerged as a medium, women have been central to its history. They have appeared frequently as subjects, while also embracing photography as a powerful means of documentation and self-expression. Through the camera, women have explored identity, recorded lived experience, and contributed to the evolution of visual storytelling.

The 55th edition of AAP Magazine invites photographers from around the world to celebrate women and the many essential roles they play. This edition seeks thoughtful and compelling photographic work that reflects the diversity of women’s experiences, highlighting qualities such as strength, dedication, beauty, resilience, empathy, and perseverance.

Photographers are invited to submit a cohesive series or complete portfolio. The subject matter is open and may include fashion, nude, documentary, portrait, sports, fine art, or commercial photography. All capture methods and processes are accepted, including digital and analog photography, as well as monochromatic and alternative techniques.

Selected winners will receive a share of $1,000 in cash awards. Their winning image(s) or full portfolio will be published in AAP Magazine, accompanied by extensive press coverage and international promotion, offering photographers valuable global visibility and recognition.
