The competition does not draw boundaries—whether you are a hobbyist with a smartphone, a professional with years of experience, or a young enthusiast just beginning to explore the art, TPOTY offers a platform where your work can shine.

Over the past 22 years, TPOTY has become a truly global stage for travel photography. Submissions have poured in from 157 countries, each telling a different story of place, culture, and perspective. From those entries, winners from 56 different nationalities have emerged, representing both amateurs and professionals whose creativity knows no borders. This global tapestry of talent has made TPOTY not only a competition but also a movement, connecting people from all walks of life through the shared language of photography.
