Thin Line Fest is a five-day, multi-format celebration of the arts taking place March 18–22, 2026, in the vibrant and creative city of Denton, Texas. More than just a single event, it brings together three distinct but interconnected festivals—Film, Music, and Photography—into one immersive cultural experience.

Every artist selected for participation is recognized as an essential part of the Thin Line community. As a result, all selected creators are treated as VIP guests throughout the festival, with full access to screenings, concerts, exhibitions, and special networking opportunities. This commitment to artist experience sets Thin Line apart from other festivals—it’s as much a celebration of people as it is of their art.

The Photography Festival is one of Thin Line’s most exciting components. Though competitive in nature, it differs significantly from the typical photography contest. At Thin Line, the competition becomes part of a living, physical event. Selected works are professionally printed, framed, and exhibited across various gallery spaces in downtown Denton, transforming the city itself into a dynamic open-air museum of visual creativity.

All chosen photographers receive a VIP pass, granting them exclusive access to all festival programming—including film screenings, live music, artist talks, and receptions.
