This year marks the ninth edition of the Meitar Award for Excellence in Photography—an exciting milestone in a joint effort by PHOTO IS:RAEL and the Zvi and Ofra Meitar Family Fund to celebrate outstanding talent in photography. Designed to spotlight artists whose work exemplifies technical skill, creativity, and an innovative approach to the medium, the award is a coveted honor in the international photography scene. All shortlisted submissions will be evaluated anonymously by a panel of acclaimed jurors—leaders and visionaries in the world of art and photography. The jury will select one winner whose work not only meets the highest standards of quality and originality but also shows the potential to develop into a powerful, unified collection fit for a solo show. This award is more than a title—it’s a platform for meaningful exposure and creative recognition.
