In a celebration of vision, creativity, and storytelling through the lens, the Meitar Award for Excellence in Photography returns for its ninth edition. A collaboration between PHOTO IS:RAEL and the Zvi and Ofra Meitar Family Fund, this award seeks to elevate voices in photography that transcend the ordinary and offer something truly exceptional. Open to emerging and established photographers alike, the award recognizes a body of work that not only displays technical mastery but also emotional depth, originality, and a distinct point of view. A jury of renowned international professionals, selected for their expertise and discerning eye, will conduct an anonymous review of the shortlisted candidates. From this pool, one photographer will be honored for their capacity to create a compelling and cohesive portfolio, one that merits a solo exhibition and further recognition within the global photography community.
