Open to artists of all backgrounds, disciplines, and levels of experience, the Homiens Art Prize embraces an expansive definition of contemporary art. Submissions are welcomed across all mediums and formats, including—but not limited to—painting, sculpture, photography, drawing, printmaking, installation, and audiovisual practices. Artists may submit works created in any year, free from thematic or size limitations, ensuring complete creative freedom.
Each competition cycle recognizes outstanding talent through a carefully structured selection process, culminating in the announcement of three winners, twelve finalists, and up to two hundred highly commended artists. Selected participants are showcased in our quarterly exhibitions, providing a curated global stage for their work.
As a leading international initiative distributing over $12,000 USD annually in unrestricted funding, the Homiens Art Prize is non-acquisitive, allowing artists to retain full ownership of their work.
