The Homiens Art Prize Spring 2026 - Call for Art & Photography

Whether you are an emerging artist in search of a meaningful platform to propel your career forward, or an established practitioner aiming to deepen your professional recognition, the Homiens Art Prize stands as a distinguished and merit-driven opportunity within the global art landscape. Designed to celebrate artistic excellence without bias, this prestigious award offers a powerful gateway to international visibility and long-term career advancement.

Open to artists of all backgrounds, disciplines, and levels of experience, the Homiens Art Prize embraces an expansive definition of contemporary art. Submissions are welcomed across all mediums and formats, including—but not limited to—painting, sculpture, photography, drawing, printmaking, installation, and audiovisual practices. Artists may submit works created in any year, free from thematic or size limitations, ensuring complete creative freedom.

Each competition cycle recognizes outstanding talent through a carefully structured selection process, culminating in the announcement of three winners, twelve finalists, and up to two hundred highly commended artists. Selected participants are showcased in our quarterly exhibitions, providing a curated global stage for their work.

As a leading international initiative distributing over $12,000 USD annually in unrestricted funding, the Homiens Art Prize is non-acquisitive, allowing artists to retain full ownership of their work. Beyond financial support, the prize functions as a catalyst for tangible professional growth, offering participants access to a dynamic ecosystem that connects artists with influential figures across the art world, including curators, institutions, and collectors.

In addition, artists benefit from expanded international exposure through dedicated programs such as Meet the Artists, the Promoted Artists initiative, and The Art of Art: Interviews, our in-depth artist interview series. Together, these opportunities are designed to amplify artistic voices and foster meaningful engagement within the global art community.
