Whether you are an emerging artist looking for a significant opportunity to establish your career or an established professional seeking greater international recognition, the Homiens Art Prize offers a prestigious platform designed to support artistic careers and connect outstanding artists with a wider professional audience. Open to artists at every stage of their careers, the prize is built around the principle of merit and aims to provide selected artists with meaningful exposure within the international art world.

The competition welcomes an exceptionally broad range of artistic practices. Artists may submit works in any medium or art form, including painting, sculpture, photography, drawing, printmaking, installation and audiovisual work, among many others. There are no restrictions on the year in which a work was created, no thematic limitations and no size restrictions, allowing artists complete freedom to present the work that best represents their practice.

Each round, the Homiens Art Prize selects 10 winners alongside up to 200 highly commended artists. The winners are presented through the prize's quarterly exhibitions, giving them an opportunity to place their work before an international audience and gain valuable visibility beyond their existing networks.

With more than $12,000 USD awarded annually, the Homiens Art Prize represents a substantial investment in artistic development. Its broader mission extends beyond financial support: the prize is designed as a career-acceleration initiative that helps artists build connections between their creative practice and important stakeholders in the international art ecosystem, including public institutions, curators and private collectors.

Participation can also provide artists with additional opportunities for international exposure. Selected artists may be featured through initiatives such as the curated Meet the Artists series and the Promoted Artists programme, while winning artists may also have the option to participate in The Art of Art: Interviews, an interview series offering a further platform for discussing their work, ideas and artistic practice.
