How do we define art in the 21st century? What makes it truly valuable?
The debate over the meaning and value of art has reached new heights in our time. While some creators honor longstanding traditions, others challenge conventions and explore the boundaries of creativity. These contrasting approaches provoke ongoing reflection on what art signifies today.
In the contemporary art scene, success takes many shapes. The achievements of today’s leading artists reveal that there is no single formula for value or recognition; rather, a wide array of artistic approaches can thrive and resonate.
This exhibition is more than a display—it’s a platform for conversations between diverse artistic visions. By embracing variety, it challenges the notion of a singular path to success, illustrating that all creative expressions hold equal potential and worth.
Anthony Fawcett, a renowned art critic and historian, will be the guest of honor for the 8th edition of this event. On January 10th, he will deliver a keynote speech that promises to provide profound insights into the exhibition’s theme.
Starting his career at Vogue at the age of 18, Fawcett has left an indelible mark on the art world. His work includes collaborations with legends like Man Ray, John Lennon, and Andy Warhol, as well as initiatives such as the Beck’s Art Sponsorship Programme. Known for his partnerships with Francis Bacon, Jean-Michel Basquiat, and Tracey Emin, Fawcett is now working with the Tate Gallery on the “Anthony Fawcett Archive,” further solidifying his legacy.
