The concept of home encompasses both a tangible location and an intangible emotional experience. It may refer to the geographical site of one’s birth, the homeland from which one has departed, the childhood spaces that shaped early memory, or simply a place to which one feels an enduring pull.

Home can be expressed through a family residence, a provisional dwelling, an imagined sanctuary, a recollection shaped by time, or a sense of longing or belonging. It is simultaneously a concrete structure and a symbolic space that holds personal and cultural meaning.

Home may be identified as a country, a kitchen, a neighborhood, a person, a landscape, a city block, or an emotional state associated with love, safety, separation, exile, renewal, or return.

We extend an invitation to photographers worldwide to explore and interpret The Art of Belonging through any photographic methodology. Documentary, fine art, portraiture, conceptual imagery, abstraction, architectural and environmental photography, and experimental practices are all welcomed. Every creative approach contributes to a broader understanding of belonging, and every viewpoint enriches the collective dialogue.
