The AS International Film Photography Awards is an international competition held twice each year, inviting professional photographers, passionate amateurs, and photography students from around the world to celebrate the enduring art of analog photography.

Dedicated to recognizing excellence in film-based image making, the competition showcases outstanding photographs created through traditional photographic processes. Entries are welcomed from artists working with color film, black-and-white film, instant film, wet plate collodion, and a wide variety of alternative analog techniques, reflecting the rich diversity and craftsmanship of film photography.

The awards also embrace innovation within the analog medium. Photographers are encouraged to submit works that combine traditional film processes with digital editing or post-production to create compelling hybrid images. These mixed-media approaches are welcomed, provided the original photograph was captured using an analog process.

Please note that the competition is exclusively dedicated to analog photography. Images created entirely with digital cameras or generated through purely digital workflows are not eligible for submission.
