2024 ZEKE Award for Systemic Change, in partnership with the Foundation for Systemic Change, offers a $2,500 honorarium to photographers. Documenting systemic changes towards sustainable solutions addressing global issues is key. We're keen on democracy's preservation, global crises resolutions, including human rights, health, climate, migration, conflict, race, gender, and more. Educate us on pressing issues and the ongoing transformations.


ZEKE Award for Documentary Photography prizes one photographer with $2,500. Focus on global themes through impactful storytelling. Criteria? Quality images and insightful text augmenting issue comprehension.


Winners receive $2,500, ZEKE mag, exhibitions, and SDN spotlights. Honorable Mentions featured similarly.


Jurors to be announced. Entries must be documentary. 6-30 themed photos, optional multimedia. Abstracts (max 180 words) and photo captions required. Post-2013 work, or a long-term project's ongoing shots, accepted.


Exhibit rules apply. Over 90% approval rate. Public visibility guaranteed. Live exhibits for a year. Privacy possible, but pre-judging privacy hides from jurors.

Existing SDN exhibits easily convert to award entries. Eligible for US and international pros/amateurs. Restrictions apply. Entry fees are non-refundable. Scholarship options available. Submit by January 15, 2024.

By submitting, entrants grant SDN use rights. Copyright remains, but SDN can use the work for its sites, promos, and ZEKE mag. Release of work implies legal rights acknowledgment and entrant indemnification.


Entrants assume liability and confirm their rights. SDN reserves disqualification rights for rule breaches.
