Black Box Gallery is thrilled to present a juried group exhibition focusing on the interplay of shadow and light in photography. This art form uniquely captures patterns of darkness and illumination, using shadows to create depth, define subjects, and complement light values. Photographers have long employed shadows to craft dramatic black-and-white compositions and explore moody, ethereal textures in color photography. The exhibition seeks a diverse range of contemporary interpretations of shadow and light.
