This initiative is led and curated by SeeingHappy, an international nonprofit organization that employs photography as a tool for reflection, connection, and the advancement of human well-being. Through its programs and exhibitions, SeeingHappy uses visual narratives to promote empathy, deepen understanding, and encourage positive social impact on a global scale.
The showcase is presented in partnership with the AI and the Future of Well-Being Summit, hosted by the International Positive Psychology Association (IPPA). In support of this collaboration, IPPA is facilitating the global dissemination of the open call to its international membership, in alignment with its 2026 conference theme, Navigating the Promise and the Perils for Psychology. This theme underscores the importance of examining both the opportunities and challenges that emerging technologies pose for psychological science and human experience.
By working together, SeeingHappy and IPPA aim to foster meaningful international dialogue at the intersection of creative practice, well-being research, and emerging technologies. The collaboration seeks to bring diverse voices into conversation, encouraging interdisciplinary perspectives on how creativity and science can jointly shape a more flourishing future.
