The initiative is led and curated by SeeingHappy, a global nonprofit that harnesses the expressive power of photography to encourage reflection, foster human connection, and support individual and collective flourishing. By using visual storytelling as a shared language, SeeingHappy creates spaces where people can explore meaning, empathy, and well-being across cultural and geographical boundaries.
The showcase is developed in collaboration with the AI and the Future of Well-Being Summit, organized by the International Positive Psychology Association (IPPA). IPPA is extending this open call to its worldwide community as part of its commitment to advancing thoughtful dialogue around its 2026 conference theme, Navigating the Promise and the Perils for Psychology. This theme addresses the opportunities and challenges emerging technologies present for psychological research, practice, and human well-being.
Together, SeeingHappy and IPPA seek to spark an international conversation that bridges creativity, well-being science, and technological innovation. The initiative invites participants to reflect on how artistic expression and scientific insight can inform one another in a rapidly changing world, opening new pathways for understanding the future of human flourishing.
