In 2025, the streets of Tokyo will tell European stories through the lens. We invite photographers from across the continent to take part in SEEEU 2025, the first-ever European Photography Month hosted in Japan’s capital. This unique festival sets out to weave European perspectives into Tokyo’s rich cultural fabric, fostering creative dialogue and forging new opportunities between artists from both regions.

Throughout the city’s public spaces — from bustling squares to quiet corners — exhibitions will reimagine the possibilities of photographic presentation. Visitors will wander through a living gallery, where images meet the movement and rhythm of urban life. The journey continues with a calendar of engaging events: intimate networking sessions, insightful panels, the prestigious Photojournalism Awards, a fundraising art auction for Ukraine, guided photowalks through Tokyo’s neighborhoods, and professional portfolio reviews designed to spark growth and connection.
