Across cultures and throughout history, human beings have sought out sanctuaries—places of rest, renewal, and protection. In this spirit, we warmly invite photographers worldwide to submit images for Sanctuary, an online exhibition that reflects on the diverse ways in which refuge can be found and experienced.

What does sanctuary mean for you personally? It might be the soft hush of a favorite room, where you can retreat from the noise of the outside world. It could be the solemn beauty of a temple, mosque, or church, or the awe-inspiring presence of nature in its purest form: a forest trail, an open sea, a mountain ridge. Sanctuary might also live in human connection—the embrace of family, laughter shared among friends—or within yourself, in a quiet, inner state of harmony. This exhibition encourages you to interpret sanctuary as broadly or as intimately as you wish, and to share that vision with others through your lens.

Recognition & Opportunities:

• The First Place entry will be offered a dedicated Solo Exhibition in our Featured gallery section.

• Every participating photographer will receive a digital badge to celebrate their involvement.

• Certificates of Recognition will be presented to the First, Second, and Third Place winners, along with two Honorable Mentions.
