The Historic Mountain Photography Contest, organized by RSEA Peñalara, continues a long-standing tradition of celebrating the beauty, history, and spirit of the mountains through the art of photography. This initiative forms part of RSEA Peñalara’s enduring commitment to the promotion and dissemination of mountain culture, encouraging the appreciation of natural landscapes, adventure, and the human relationship with high-altitude environments.
The contest is open to both professional and amateur photographers from around the world, regardless of nationality or country of residence. Participants are invited to submit their work that reflects the grandeur, diversity, and cultural significance of mountain landscapes—whether captured through documentary precision, artistic interpretation, or personal vision.
