The Royal Photographic Society is pleased to announce, in collaboration with The Photographic Angle, the opening of applications for a special 1-year bursary program. This initiative has been created to support photographers in developing a project that contributes meaningfully to environmental awareness—a topic of growing global importance.

The bursary, valued at £4,000, is intended to assist photographers by covering travel expenses, the purchase or rental of photographic equipment, and any other necessary costs related to the proposed project. We are looking for submissions that demonstrate both creativity and a strong documentary or editorial approach to the environmental issues you are passionate about.

This opportunity is open to any talented photographer who is currently residing in or enrolled in a course of study within the United Kingdom. Whether you are an emerging artist or an experienced photographer looking to explore environmental themes, we encourage you to apply.
