Rovinj Photodays 2025 - Photo Competition


Photographs captured within the last two years are eligible for entry into this competition. Submissions are strictly limited to work created during this time frame to ensure relevance and freshness in the artistic exploration.

When submitting, each participant must include a brief biography and a statement describing their work. These supplementary documents should not exceed one page each. Additionally, both documents must be provided in two languages: the artist's native language and English. This ensures accessibility for an international audience while preserving the artist's cultural and linguistic identity.

Each photograph can only be submitted once and must not be entered into multiple categories or formats. Submissions must clearly designate whether the photo is an individual piece or part of a larger series. In cases of series entries, curators retain the discretion to assess and interpret the photographs either collectively or individually.

The participation fee is €20 or $21.02 USD, which covers up to three separate submissions. These submissions can take one of two forms:

  • A single photograph submitted as a standalone entry, or

  • A cohesive series consisting of up to 20 related photographs.
