The 12th International Open Call presents a juried photography exhibition dedicated to highlighting compelling contemporary voices from across the global photographic community. This open call invites artists working in photography to submit work that reflects the breadth, depth, and innovation of current practice, without restriction to any specific theme or conceptual framework.
At its core, this initiative seeks to identify and present a diverse range of image-makers whose work engages with the evolving language of photography today. By removing thematic constraints, the exhibition encourages participants to submit work that is authentic to their individual vision, allowing for a rich and multifaceted exploration of contemporary photographic discourse.
This call aims to bring together artists from around the world in order to create a snapshot of photographic practice in 2026. Selected works will be curated into a gallery exhibition that reflects the wide spectrum of approaches to image-making, including variations in technique, subject matter, presentation, and conceptual intent. From traditional photographic methods to experimental and interdisciplinary practices, all forms are welcome.
The only essential criterion is that the work originates from a photographic process involving the capture of light. Beyond this fundamental element, artists are given complete creative freedom. The exhibition ultimately seeks to celebrate imagination, innovation, and the limitless possibilities of photography in its current moment.
