We live in an era saturated by images and overwhelmed by the promises of technology. Our vision is constantly mediated, filtered, and redirected. In such a context, to continue looking with curiosity, to sustain a sense of wonder, becomes an act of emancipation—a way of resisting the automation of perception.

"20 Ways to Escape" is conceived as an open framework: an invitation to artists, photographers, and image-makers to explore the many forms that escape can take. Escape from what? From repetition, from inherited memories, from social norms, from digital noise, from the exhaustion of visibility, or perhaps from oneself. The exhibition does not aim to prescribe meaning or impose direction; rather, it proposes companionship—a space where gazes can coexist, diverge, and resonate.We ask: What does it mean to flee today? What kind of freedom can be found in disappearance, refusal, or transformation?

The project embraces multiplicity. We welcome both literal and metaphorical readings, intimate confessions and collective gestures, personal and political statements, formal experiments and poetic abstractions. Our curatorial approach will focus on creating a dialogue between these heterogeneous voices, constructing a narrative that remains open—an evolving map of ways to escape.
