Every day we are surrounded by images—flooded by them—each one promising something new, faster, better. In this dense visual world, simply looking with genuine wonder is already an act of independence. It means choosing to see differently, to slow down, to feel again.

"20 Ways to Escape" is an invitation to imagine your own routes of escape. These escapes might be physical, emotional, symbolic, or purely imaginative: leaving behind routines, borders, noise, expectations, memories—or even your own reflection. We are not here to define what escape should look like. Instead, we want to stand beside you, to share the act of looking.Ask yourself: What are you escaping from? Where are you heading? How do you find moments of freedom in the everyday?

The theme is open on purpose. We encourage interpretations that are literal or metaphorical, deeply personal or socially engaged, political or poetic, quiet or bold. We are seeking diversity of voices, styles, and approaches. Our role will be to weave these different perspectives into a cohesive exhibition—one that tells a story about the many ways humans find, invent, or dream of escape.
