Across the globe, technology is transforming lives in unexpected ways, from AI-driven tools supporting local language learning in Mali to homemade e-bike batteries crafted in Indonesian households, and migration stories shared by young creators on YouTube. At Rest of World, we want to see how tech impacts your world.

Join our annual Photography Contest to showcase these stories! We’re seeking photographs that capture tech’s role in your life or community. Please include a detailed description, noting when and where your photo was taken, and explaining its significance and context.

Open to photographers worldwide, of any experience level, the contest allows one entry per person, with images taken in the past two years. Submit your entry by midnight GMT on November 30, 2024. Ten finalists will be featured on our website, with cash prizes for the top three: $1,000 for first place, $750 for second, and $500 for third.
