Decagon Gallery - "Red" International Photography Exhibition

Red is not just a color; it is a sensation. It moves through images like a heartbeat—carrying emotion, memory, and presence in its wake. Red can overwhelm or barely reveal itself. It can shout with urgency or exist in near silence, expressing itself through subtlety and control as much as through intensity. Its meaning is never singular and never easily contained.

For this exhibition, we are not interested in spectacle or visual excess. We are looking for photographs where red feels personal, intentional, and deeply felt—where it belongs to the image because it belongs to the experience behind it. Whether red commands the frame or lingers quietly at its edges, it should feel inseparable from your perspective and your way of moving through the world. We invite work that treats red not as a symbol to decode, but as a lived presence—an experience that unfolds through seeing, feeling, and remembering.
