For the third year in a row, the Railway Tourism Association (ATF Turisferr) is presenting its “Tourism for a Better Planet” Photography Contest, an initiative designed to link the art of photography with the values of sustainability. This year’s competition continues the association’s commitment to encouraging travelers and citizens alike to think critically about how tourism affects ecosystems, traditions, and the social fabric of host communities. Through this contest, ATF Turisferr seeks to shed light on positive examples of responsible travel while motivating participants to embrace and promote better tourism practices. The ultimate goal is to foster a collective movement toward a model of tourism that protects the environment, honors cultural and historical heritage, and supports the well-being of the people who live in tourist destinations.
