The bedrock of my creative journey lies in the extraordinary women of my family – Virginia, the pianist grandmother; my great-aunt, the painter; and my sculptor mother. Their artistic endeavors fueled my fascination with art from the earliest moments of my childhood, guiding my path as a photographer and visual artist.
The Prix Virginia represents my firm support for the acknowledgment of women photographers. It serves as a platform for sharing the passions passed down to me by these inspiring women.

Since 2012, The Prix Virginia has been conferred every two years as the premier photography prize exclusively dedicated to a woman photographer, regardless of age or nationality. Entrants must submit work that has not yet been exhibited in France and is not the outcome of an editorial assignment or advertisement commission.
