The 25th edition of the Prix Picto de la Photographie de Mode has been launched, and the Picto Foundation is pleased to make the announcement.
The Prix Picto de la Photographie de Mode has been honoring emerging fashion photographers since 1998 and presents awards to three photographers each year.
The winner of the Grand Prix Picto de la Photographie de Mode receives a Leica camera and a PICTO exhibition.
The second prize, the Dotation le19M de la Photographie des Métiers d'Art, is given to a photographer who will work with one of the resident houses of le19M, a site in Paris-Aubervilliers dedicated to fashion crafts that was created and designed by CHANEL. The winner of the third prize, Dotation Filippo Roversi, will have the opportunity to participate in a workshop with photographer Paolo Roversi and receive production assistance from PICTO. This prize highlights the originality of a technical skill.
The winners can exhibit in a space made available for the Prix Picto de la Photographie de Mode at the Palais Galliera, which is part of the Musée de la Mode de la Ville de Paris. One of the three laureates has been invited to an artistic collaboration since 2021 by Photo Festival St. Barth Art Week.
