The Bayeux Calvados-Normandy Award for War Correspondents recognizes outstanding journalistic work covering conflict situations, their impact on civilians, or stories highlighting the defense of freedom and democracy. Eligible reports must have been produced between June 1, 2023, and May 31, 2024.
A generous prize of €7,000 awaits the winner in each category. Submissions must be sent to the designated address by June 6th, 2024. Entrants are required to provide a link for downloading their entry.
The categories encompass various media formats including radio, photography, television (both short and long formats), written press, and this year's addition, the young reporter prize (photography). Notably, reports exclusively published or broadcast on digital platforms are equally eligible for consideration, regardless of whether they fall within the photo category.
