Point Pleasant Publishing is dedicated to showcasing experimental, interdisciplinary, and alternative approaches to visual art. We actively seek submissions that push beyond conventional boundaries, including but not limited to photography, performance-based practices, video, film, installation, assemblage, collage, fiber arts, printmaking, light design, jewelry, fashion and costume design, and analogue–digital hybrid work (AI-generated content is not accepted).

At this time, we do not review, write about, or publish articles focused on painting, drawing, traditional sculpture, or traditional ceramics. These media fall outside the scope of our current editorial and curatorial focus and are therefore ineligible for consideration.

Artist selection is guided by a holistic evaluation process that considers multiple factors, including artistic accomplishments, originality of vision, conceptual depth, aesthetic strength, and the overall cohesion of the portfolio. We are particularly interested in artists whose work challenges dominant frameworks and explores alternative or experimental modes of making, and we strongly encourage such artists to apply.
