2021 also saw Overall Winner, Li Huaifeng, and Bring Home the Harvest Finalist, Dorte Verner interviewed by the award-winning program Food Chain on the BBC World Service, the world's largest radio station with a weekly audience of 279 million people around the world. Numerous features showcasing images from the Awards are published in news, photography and food media across the world immediately after the Awards presentation and also over the following 12 months.

You will have the opportunity to see your work displayed at the Royal Photographic Society, Bristol, in a free-to-enter, public exhibition from Saturday 19 November to Sunday 12 December 2022, giving your work high-profile exposure. This is intended to help publicize your creativity and also encourage and inspire others to develop their skills in food photography for the following year.
Your image will be appreciated by some of the leading figures in the photography and food industries during the judging process
A dedicated page will be added to our website showing an in-depth profile of the overall winner featuring the winning image
You will receive a dedicated press release promoting your image to international photography and food media
Your hard work and creativity will be credited wherever the image is used and will be seen by millions of people across the globe
Category winners:
All category winners will receive a prestigious trophy.
You will have the opportunity to see your work displayed at the Royal Photographic Society, Bristol, in a free-to-enter, public exhibition from 19 November to 12 December 2022, giving your work high-profile exposure. This is intended to help publicize your creativity and also encourage and inspire others to develop their skills in food photography for the following year.
The winner of the Pink Lady® Apple a Day category will win £1000GBP.
The winner of the Errazuriz Wine Photographer of the Year category will win £1000GBP.
The winner of the Production Paradise Previously Published category will win a special feature in the Production Paradise Spotlight Food & Drink Photography online magazine, along with a 12-image gallery of their work.
The winner of One Vision Imaging Cream of the Crop, a category of Pink Lady® Food Photographer of the Year will win £300GBP for use against One Vision Imaging services
The winner of MPB Food Influencer, a category of Pink Lady® Food Photographer of the Year will win an MBP voucher for £1000GBP to spend on any used photography or videography equipment at MPB.com
The winner of the Fujifilm Award for Innovation will win a prize worth £1500 GBP. The prize will consist of a Fujifilm X100V and a voucher for £200 worth of printing from the MyFujifilm website which has a fantastic array of printing services and products. NOTE: There is no cash alternative available and the printing is only available in the UK.
The winner of the Claire Aho Award for Women Photographers in association with Visit Finland category will receive a Visit Finland package including accommodation in Helsinki and return flights.
The prize includes a hotel accommodation voucher for the winner of the Claire Aho Award for Women Photographers in association with Visit Finland, plus a guest. This voucher will include three nights in Scandic Grand Central Helsinki or an equivalent 4* hotel in a double/twin room including breakfast. (Approx. value €600). The hotel name is to be confirmed in January 2022 and this is subject to change based on availability at the hotel.
The prize also includes a Finnair voucher in euros which will be equivalent to two return economy tickets for London-Helsinki-London (Approx. value of €800). Flights are subject to availability and may exclude travel over bank holidays and key holiday periods such as Christmas.
The winner of the prize will need to communicate and book directly with Finnair and the hotel; Visit Finland is unable to book flights and the hotel directly. The hotel and Finnair flights are non-reimbursable, non-transferable.
The prize winner is responsible for all ground transfers.
The prize winner is responsible for any and all taxes on the prize in the recipient’s country.
Visit Finland will provide a letter for the prize winner with details on how to book their trip, following the awards event in April 2022.
The prize is valid for travel until 31 October 2022.
The prize winner must book their hotel stay at least 30 days before departure.
The winner and two runners up of the Student Food Photographer of the Year category will receive an RPS Membership, worth £55. The winning student will have their work and an interview published in the award-winning RPS Journal.
In addition, the winner of the Student Food Photographer of the Year category will have the unique opportunity to have a 60-minute one-to-one Zoom meeting with Commercial Photography Consultant and Mentor, Zoe Whishaw. This will include:

Where a prize is offered by a Third Party, Food Photographer of the Year Ltd is not bound to deliver the exact prize that has been offered by the Third Party if unforeseen events should take place to prevent delivery, but will do its utmost to ensure that a similar prize is delivered instead.
