Few subjects capture the magic of seasonal change as profoundly as trees. Their branches bloom, stretch, blaze with color, and stand bare—quietly chronicling nature’s rhythms as the year unfolds. Whether you’re drawn to the first green shoots of spring, the saturated light of summer, the fiery colors of autumn, or the haunting beauty of a winter forest, this is your chance to share that vision.
We are thrilled to announce an open call for photographs for our upcoming juried exhibition, Trees and Seasons. We're looking for images that explore the relationship between trees and the shifting seasons—images that surprise us, move us, and reveal the beauty of change.
All genres of photography are encouraged: bold landscapes, soft details, vibrant colors, minimalist monochromes, conceptual projects, and everything in between. Whether your perspective is wide-angle or microscopic, literal or imaginative, if your work celebrates trees as symbols of seasonal transformation, we want to see it.
Guest Juror: Lee Ann WhiteWe are honored to welcome Lee Ann White as juror. A seasoned photographer and editor known for her expertise in landscape and botanical photography, she will curate a final selection of:
Up to 35 images for exhibition in our Middlebury, Vermont gallery
40 additional images for inclusion in our Online Gallery
All selected artists will have their work:
Featured in a professionally designed catalog
Included on our permanent online archive
Actively promoted across social media, with clickable links to their artist websites or portfolios
With a total of 75 images to be selected, this exhibition offers broad exposure to a diverse and appreciative audience of art lovers, nature enthusiasts, and photography professionals. Don’t miss this opportunity to be part of a compelling group show that celebrates the poetic connection between trees and time.
Submit now and help us tell the story of the seasons—one tree at a time.
