PhotoPlace Gallery is inviting photographers from around the world to submit their work for Quiet Landscape, a juried photography exhibition dedicated to celebrating the beauty, serenity, and quiet power of the landscape. This exhibition seeks images that go beyond dramatic scenery, focusing instead on photographs that encourage viewers to pause, reflect, and experience a deeper connection with the natural and built environments around them.

From expansive mountain ranges and coastal horizons to intimate woodland scenes, cultivated farmland, and peaceful urban spaces, Quiet Landscape welcomes photographs that reveal the subtle relationships between people, place, light, atmosphere, and the passage of time. The exhibition aims to highlight landscapes that evoke stillness, contemplation, and emotional resonance, inviting audiences to discover beauty in moments that might otherwise pass unnoticed.

Photographers are encouraged to submit work exploring a wide variety of landscapes, including natural, rural, urban, and agricultural environments. Entries may be created using traditional, documentary, conceptual, or fine art approaches, offering artists complete creative freedom in how they interpret the theme. Whether capturing the changing seasons, the quiet solitude of remote locations, shifting weather, delicate light, or the textures of everyday places, the exhibition seeks photographs that express a personal vision while demonstrating the enduring appeal of landscape photography.

PhotoPlace Gallery is honored to welcome Kat Kiernan as the juror for this exhibition. She will carefully review all submissions and select up to 35 photographs for display in the gallery's physical exhibition in Middlebury, Vermont, along with approximately 40 additional photographs for inclusion in the Online Gallery.

Every selected image will receive valuable international exposure. Accepted works will be reproduced in the official exhibition catalog, permanently archived on the PhotoPlace Gallery website, and promoted through the gallery's publications, newsletters, and social media platforms, providing photographers with lasting visibility among collectors, curators, and photography enthusiasts.
