PhotoPlace Gallery invites photographers to submit their work for Animalia: Our Shared World, a juried photography exhibition dedicated to celebrating the extraordinary diversity of the animal kingdom and the many ways animals enrich our lives. From cherished domestic companions and familiar backyard visitors to wild mammals, birds, insects, reptiles, amphibians, marine creatures, and other species across the planet, the exhibition seeks to highlight the beauty and complexity of the living world we share.

Photographers are encouraged to explore the many dimensions of animal life, capturing distinctive characteristics, natural behaviors, emotional connections, and interactions between species. Submissions may document wildlife in its natural habitat, reveal intimate moments with domestic animals, or examine the relationships between animals, humans, and the environment. All photographic genres, styles, and processes are welcome, with an emphasis on images that offer an original, thoughtful, and compelling perspective.

The exhibition will be juried by Wendi Schneider, who will select up to 35 photographs for display at PhotoPlace Gallery in Middlebury, Vermont, as well as approximately 40 additional images for the Online Gallery. All selected photographs will be featured in the exhibition book, remain permanently accessible on the gallery's website, and receive further exposure through PhotoPlace Gallery's publications and social media platforms.
