PhotoPlace Gallery is now accepting submissions for After Dark, a juried exhibition focused on photography created between dusk and dawn. This call invites photographers to explore and share images that capture the unique qualities of nighttime environments.

Submissions may include a wide variety of subjects and techniques, such as night landscapes, astrophotography, street and urban scenes, architectural photography, long exposures, light painting, and experimental methods. Whether depicting the glow of city lights, the calm of rural darkness, deep shadows, or expansive night skies, the exhibition aims to highlight how photographers use light, darkness, and time to shape visual experiences.

All photographic styles and processes are welcome. The gallery is seeking strong, original work that conveys the mood, mystery, and atmosphere of the night.

The exhibition will be juried by Lance Keimig, who will select up to 35 images for display in PhotoPlace Gallery’s physical space in Middlebury, Vermont, and an additional 40 images for the Online Gallery. All selected works will be included in the exhibition catalog, permanently featured on the gallery’s website, and promoted through social media, including links to each artist’s website.
