We are excited to announce that the New Orleans Photo Alliance is launching the first-ever PhotoNOLA Photobook Prize, a new annual award dedicated to recognizing outstanding creativity and innovation in photobook publishing. This prize is a platform designed to highlight the unique storytelling power of photobooks, celebrating photographers and artists who excel in this medium. As part of this initiative, winners and participants alike will have a rare opportunity to showcase their works to a diverse audience of fellow photographers, respected industry professionals, and passionate collectors. The prize culminates in the annual PhotoNOLA Photobook Fair, scheduled for Saturday, December 14, 2024, at the esteemed Ogden Museum of Southern Art. Here, attendees will have a chance to delve into a variety of photobooks, offering a dynamic space for appreciation, networking, and inspiration within the field of contemporary photography.
