The Photometria International Photography Festival, continuing its commitment to growth, innovation, and the active support of emerging talent, is proud to announce the launch of the “Youth Collective 2026” competition. This new initiative forms part of the festival’s broader vision to cultivate the next generation of image-makers and to create meaningful platforms for their work to be seen and recognized.

Youth Collective 2026 is addressed to young artists between the ages of 18 and 25, without limitation or requirement regarding formal education or academic affiliation. By removing institutional barriers, the festival seeks to ensure equal access and to welcome a diverse spectrum of creative voices. The initiative is designed to provide both visibility and opportunity, fostering contemporary photographic practices and encouraging bold experimentation across styles, methods, and concepts.

The competition will take place from March 1 to March 31, 2026. During this period, participants are invited to present work that reflects new perspectives and innovative artistic approaches within the medium of photography. Through this open call, the festival aims to highlight fresh visual languages and to amplify the distinct voices shaping the future of photographic expression.
