Photometria - Youth Collective 2026






With a continued focus on nurturing young creative talent, the Photometria International Photography Festival announces the launch of “Youth Collective 2026,” a competition dedicated to empowering the next generation of photographers. This initiative reflects the festival’s ongoing mission to expand its community and to invest in the future of contemporary image-making.

Youth Collective is open to artists aged 18 to 25, regardless of academic path, professional status, or level of formal training. By welcoming participants from all backgrounds, the festival aims to create an inclusive platform where emerging artists can experiment freely, refine their voice, and share their vision with a broader audience. It is an opportunity not only to participate, but to be part of a growing creative dialogue.

Running from March 1 through March 31, 2026, the competition seeks to spotlight originality and fresh artistic energy. Through photography as a medium, participants are encouraged to present new ways of seeing and interpreting the world.
