As part of its strategic commitment to supporting young creators and expanding opportunities within the photographic field, the Photometria International Photography Festival introduces the “Youth Collective 2026” competition. This new program underscores the festival’s dedication to fostering emerging talent and strengthening its role as a platform for artistic development.
Youth Collective 2026 is specifically designed for young artists aged 18 to 25. Participation is open to all individuals within this age group, independent of educational background or institutional affiliation. By maintaining this open and accessible framework, the festival aims to reach a broad and diverse range of emerging photographers, encouraging experimentation and the exploration of contemporary photographic practices.
The competition will run from March 1 to March 31, 2026. Over the course of this month-long open call, participants are invited to submit work that demonstrates originality, new viewpoints, and innovative artistic strategies within photography. The initiative seeks to identify and showcase fresh creative approaches, offering visibility to voices that represent the evolving future of the medium.
