The open call welcomes artists and independent publishers from around the world to participate in a collective presentation of contemporary photographic publishing. Submissions are invited for artist books, self-published photobooks, limited-edition books, zines, and other DIY publications that explore photography in experimental, personal, or innovative ways.

The books selected through this process will be presented to the public at the Photometria Photography Center during the 18th Photometria International Photography Festival, running from 26 September to 29 November 2026. After the festival’s conclusion, the exhibition will continue at ZOETROPE Athens, with dates to be announced. Should there be interest from additional venues or institutions in other regions, the exhibition may travel further, and relevant information will be communicated in due course.

Following the completion of all exhibition presentations, the selected publications will become part of the Photometria Photography Center’s public photographic library. Before entering the library’s permanent collection, the festival aims to actively share and promote these works, supporting their circulation and accessibility to a wide and diverse audience.
