The Photometria International Photography Festival is thrilled to unveil its Parallel Voices 2025 Portfolio Contest, a competition aimed at showcasing contemporary photography’s diverse voices. This contest invites participants to submit a portfolio consisting of fifteen (15) photographs, from which eight (8) images will be selected for display. Each portfolio should encapsulate the photographer’s perspective on a chosen theme, concept, or narrative, encouraging the creation of meaningful visual storytelling.

A total of nine (9) winning portfolios will be selected to feature in the "Parallel Voices" exhibition, an integral part of the 2025 festival. Entries will be evaluated on these key points:

• How well the photographs align with the theme or idea.

• The cohesiveness and unity of the portfolio as a whole.

• The artistic and aesthetic excellence of the images.

Results will be announced in February 2025 on the festival’s official website and social media, with winners also notified via email. Hosted by the non-profit organization Entefxis, the Photometria Festival celebrates its 17th year as Greece's leading photography event, based in Ioannina. A unique and inclusive platform, the festival invites all who share a passion for photography to take part, making it a true celebration of creative expression.
