The Photometria International Photography Festival proudly announces the launch of the Parallel Voices 2025 Portfolio Contest, an initiative dedicated to celebrating and promoting modern photographic expression. Open to photographers worldwide, participants are required to submit one (1) portfolio containing fifteen (15) images. From each submission, eight (8) photographs will be selected to represent the artist's vision. The portfolio should explore a subject of the photographer's choice, whether it is a thematic exploration, a concept, or the storytelling of a narrative.
Nine (9) exceptional portfolios will be chosen as winners and featured in the "Parallel Voices" exhibition for the 2025 festival. Submissions will be judged based on the following criteria:
The connection between the images and the chosen subject.
The cohesiveness of the portfolio as a single, unified project.
The artistic and aesthetic quality of the images.
Winners will be announced in February 2025 via the festival's official website and social media channels. They will also receive individual notifications through email. Organized by the non-profit group Entefxis, the Photometria Festival celebrates its 17th anniversary as Greece’s first interactive photography event, based in Ioannina. This dynamic platform welcomes both seasoned photographers and passionate newcomers to contribute to the art of photography.
