The Photometria International Photography Festival, committed to fostering the growth of contemporary photographic artistry, is excited to announce the Parallel Voices 2025 Portfolio Contest. Photographers are invited to submit a single portfolio comprising fifteen (15) photographs, from which a curated selection of eight (8) will be made. Each portfolio should revolve around a central theme, concept, or story chosen by the artist, allowing photographers to express their unique vision and creative narrative.

The nine (9) top-ranked portfolios will form the basis of the "Parallel Voices" exhibition, set to debut during the 2025 festival. The competition's evaluation criteria include:

• How effectively the images align with the chosen theme.

• The portfolio's coherence and its ability to function as a unified body of work.

• The artistic and aesthetic merit of the photographs.

Winners will be announced in February 2025 on the festival’s official website, social media platforms, and through email notifications. Organized by the non-profit organization Entefxis, the festival will mark its 17th year in the city of Ioannina, Greece, as an inclusive celebration of photography. This innovative festival warmly invites photography enthusiasts and professionals alike to take part.
