In its ongoing mission to promote and support contemporary photographic creation, Photometria International Photography Festival proudly announces the Parallel Voices Portfolio Contest, open for submissions from November 1st to December 15th, 2025. This competition continues the festival’s commitment to discovering and highlighting new voices in photography—artists whose vision reflects the diversity and dynamism of the world we live in.

Participating photographers are invited to submit one (1) cohesive portfolio consisting of fifteen (15) photographs, offering a clear artistic concept, theme, or narrative. From each submission, eight (8) images will be selected by the jury for evaluation and exhibition. The festival encourages works that demonstrate strong visual storytelling, conceptual depth, and a distinct personal approach—projects that explore subjects of the photographer’s choice while remaining open to multiple interpretations.

The nine (9) selected portfolios will be presented in the upcoming Photometria International Photography Festival 2026, forming a group exhibition under the title “Parallel Voices”—a celebration of contemporary photographic expression and the diverse perspectives shaping visual culture today.
